Restoring a Magnavox AC2

My friend is restoring a pristine Magnavox AC2. This is old glory not only in looks but in build quality as well. The inside is a piece of art and contains nothing but solid wires and transformers. The way these are organised and laid out is a long forgotten art.. How impressive is that? And all Western Electric vacuum tubes on top, all still working!

The restoring part is building a power supply and to connect it up to an output transformer so that it can be used from a modern source and speakers. Originally it used batteries as power supply and was connected up to a high impedance speaker/horn..
