This morning the project was finished. Although not the most complex design, it was labor intensive as the OPT's from Alexander Naydenov are huge thus heavy. This power amplifier supports six pieces RS282, as driver and two per channel as power tube, parallel single ended. Runs at almost 800 Volts sucking 120mA per channel for the power tubes and 40mA at 500 Volts for the driver.
The power supply uses a pair of U19 for the power tubes and a 5R4GY for the drivers. Both have a PY500A in the return for slow turn-on.
Alexanders' transformers sound ridiculously good!
